About this Photograph: The Junior Amateur Championship Trophy was presented in 1948 by the USGA. The handsome bowl is a reproduction in sterling of a bow made in 1796 by Samuel Williamson, a well-known Philadelphia silversmith. The original is owned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
