About this Photograph: For the sixth time in its history, The Broadmoor will be hosting a USGA championship when the 2008 U.S. Senior Open is played on the East Course. Designed by well-known architect Donald Ross, the East Course received a makeover in 1958 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The East Course incorporates much of Donald Ross' original design with some revisions by Jones. USGA champions at The Broadmoor include Jack Nicklaus (1959 U.S. Amateur), Juli Inkster (1982 U.S. Women's Amateur) and Annika Sorenstam (1995 U.S. Women's Open).
