Inspired by the famed Himalayas in St. Andrews, the 16,000-square-foot Pynes Putting Course at the USGA Museum features dramatic humps, swales, and hollows that create an experience that is both challenging and entertaining. It was designed by Gil Hanse, one of the most exciting architects at work today, whose credits include Rustic Canyon Golf Club, Boston Golf Club, and Castle Stuart Golf Links in Scotland, as well as highly-acclaimed renovation work at Sleepy Hollow, Kittansett, Gulph Mills, Plainfield, Fenway, and Merions East Course.
