Details
It had been 10 years since Annika Sorenstam had her hands around the U.S. Women's Open trophy. Despite some close calls, Sorenstam had yet to capture a third Open title despite being the world's most dominant female player. That ended at Newport (R.I.) C.C., where she outlasted Pat Hurst in an 18-hole playoff to win for the first time since 1996. Hurst carded a final-round 69 to force the playoff, but couldn't recapture the momentum the next day, shooting a 74 to Sorenstam's 70.

Available in three sizes, matted or with two custom framing options.
  • Printed on museum quality digital archival print stock. We have chosen the finest quality 100% cotton fine art papers for the best reproduction as well as for their resistance to fading and superior archival performance. We are proud to use the latest generation of pigmented inks to assure the ultimate standard for quality archival papers.
  • The prints are then enclosed in wood frames (Larson-Juhl "Tribeca" Black or "Ansley" Cherry-Brown) using both acid free mats and foam core backing materials that will extend the life of the finished product. The last part of the finishing equation includes UV filtering Plexiglas.
  • The image is printed as large as possible, while maintaining the original image proportions on the paper size that you select. The image is then matted so that the image is presented with a two-to-three inch border on all sides of the image area. Please see “More Images” (above) for details.
